One of the first events that COMMA joined was the 1st Pride march in Cluj-Napoca Romania from 28th June to 1st July 2017.
When talking about healthy relationships, equality and respect we cannot ignore the LGBTQ+ community. So when we had the opportunity to get involved and help COMMA did.
Before the Pride march on the 1st July
Several events were planned and we at COMMA helped host the QUEER trivia, helped with the #Spunedrept signs and attempted to host the Queer lounge but the weather on the 29th of June was not for such an event.
And then the day of the Cluj Pride march came and we were out on the street handing out fliers and the flags to the people who came to attend this event. When the time came to start our founder found herself heading the march with the sign in hand as the sun was shining and both the people and cameras took it all in.

The outcome from the event
History was made for Romania, having become the 1st country in Eastern Europe to have two Pride parades and for Cluj to host it´s first. The outcome besides the about 500 attendees was an enormous amount of support, hopefully more discussion about the gay rights in the country and change in society for the many LGBTQ+ citizens that still live in fear.
