Romania has no official clinic for survivors of sexual abuse.
This leaves the survivors feeling helpless and oftentimes feeling like there have nowhere to go, in order for them to get the help they need. For survivors around the world contacting a clinic specialized for sexual assault means taking the first step towards help, support and changing one's life.
We at COMMA believe that Romanian survivors should be given this right to, and this is why we are working to open the first one.
The goal of the clinic is for the survivors to meet personnel that will believe them, listens, supports and helps them find their options without choosing for them.
By building a network with the police, legal representatives, medical doctors and psychologist and aiding in the processes that are available to the survivor we hope to bring more peace, closure and justice.
